Tim has a medical degree and 15+ years of clinical experience as a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist. He holds a PhD in metabolic-associated fatty liver disease at the Free University of Amsterdam.

Apart from practicing gastroenterology and hepatology, he has been working as a Functional Medicine practitioner. Functional Medicine is a personalized, holistic approach to healthcare, addressing root causes of disease.
