Annemarie has a lifelong passion for medical innovation, to improve the health and life of all stakeholders. She has over 25 years of international healthcare business experience, in the corporate medical device manufacturing industry, as well as being an entrepreneur with own medical device companies. She is founder, shareholder and board member of Prolira BV, a company that developed, CE marked, FDA approved and manufactures an innovative medical device (DeltaScan) that measures brain activity (EEG) to diagnose acute encephalopathy and delirium, the most common and costly complication of elderly hospital patients.

Before that, she founded her own successful consultancy firm, supporting companies that bring innovative medical devices to market. Previously, she held international business development positions in renowned medical device manufacturing corporates (Medisize, Helvoet). Annemarie holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Design Engineering, from the Technical University Delft, in The Netherlands.
